This Privacy Policy explains how Algorism Limited ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information when you use the Election Integrity mobile application (the "App").
The App is designed for election field operations, including account creation and login, voter and agent verification, card scanning, on-device face verification, election result capture, OCR-assisted data extraction, collation, reconciliation, and evidence submission.

The App can compare a live selfie against a scanned card image to help verify a user. This is a sensitive processing activity, so we limit it to the verification workflow and do not use it for advertising or profiling.
In the current App build, face verification is performed on-device. If a future version changes that processing model, we will update this Policy before the change takes effect.
Where a verification fallback is available, users may use a phone-based verification code instead of face verification.
We do not sell biometric information.
The backend may send uploaded result images to Google Cloud Document AI for OCR processing and to Anthropic Claude for structured data mapping.
These services help extract polling-unit information, vote totals, and related election fields from uploaded result sheets. You remain responsible for reviewing the extracted output before final submission.

Uploaded files may be temporarily stored on the backend while they are processed and transferred to Cloudinary. Temporary server files are removed after processing where the implementation allows it.
Passwords are hashed before storage. We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to reduce unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure. No system can be guaranteed to be fully secure.
You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data by using the deletion page linked below or by contacting us.
Some data may be retained if we need it for security, fraud prevention, audit, legal compliance, or dispute resolution. If we retain data for a valid reason, we will limit it to what is reasonably necessary.
